Passing
on the Torch
"
Child of my tears and prayers! Child
of Destiny!
" I know I soon must quit this
scene and rise from flame to flame
and seek the stars.
" India alas! is broken and the
world is sad and lonely. A prayer
rises in my heart today, that you
may still trust the Rishis,-the Seers
of the secret of Life,-that you may
have always a heart of sympathy and
love, that you may always seek your
joy in communion with the common life,
and in the songs of children and that,
in the tumult and noise of modern
life, you may still bear witness to
the City of Saints and Sages.

"Rich
is your spiritual
inheritance. Compassion
is the crowning aspiration
of your life....
"
May He grant you strength
and illumination to
fulfill your mission
in life! May your
life
be richly blessed
in the holy service
of sympathy and
love! And
may you bear
witness,
wherever you be,
to the Tree beneath
which the Buddha
sat to receive
Enlightenment,
-the Bodhi Tree of
Brotherhood
and Love,
of Fellowship between
all nations, all races,
all communities,-Fellowship
with the East and
West.!"

In
these touching words of blessings, the Great
Master,- Sadhu Vaswani,-passed on the torch
to his dearest disciple Dada Jashan P. Vaswani,-who
is humbly walking in the footsteps of the
Great Master and carrying on vigorously
the great work of help and healing. The
spiritual treasures bequeathed to him are
shared by this humble man with a vaster
world. His life is an offering at the altar
of humanity.His presence is a benediction
for tens of thousands of people. His voice
is a balm to the distressed and depressed.
His comforting word is a solace to many.
In
the words of his Great Master, Dada
J P Vaswani "
is the servant of the broken ones, is a
servant of Krishna and the Christ".
