Method
- Boil half the
quantity of milk with vinegar to make paneer. Strain and keep paneer
aside.
- Boil the remaining
milk with cardamoms and saffron till the quantity is halved.
- Add paneer and
sugar. At this stage, the mixture can be blended to give a fine creamy
consistency, if so desired.
- Add the colouring,
essence and nuts. Pour into a dish, decorate with silver varkh. Serve
cold.
