April 13, Thursday
Dada arrived by Singapore Airlines flight. A large gathering of devotees waited at the airport to welcome Dada.

In Singapore, Dada stayed with Shobha and Chandru Budhrani.

April 14,  Friday
Kirtan followed by “Ruh-Rihan” was held at the centre. The whole atmosphere was spiritually charged in the presence of beloved Dada. Dada spoke about Abraham Lincoln.

In the evening, Dada gave a discourse at the Singapore Swimming Club. The topic was ‘The Miracle of Forgiveness’. Dada said, let us forgive those who have harmed us, angered us or cheated us. Is not happiness and peace of mind the true treasure of man? The evening’s programme ended with a Question and Answer Session.

April 15, Saturday
Dada met the children of Sadhu Vaswani Gurukul. Dada told them about Lord Ganapati and his vehicle, the mouse. The mouse is the lowliest of animals and therefore signifies humility. Dada distributed sweets and chocolates to the children.

In the evening, Dada visited the Sadhu Vaswani Centre. In his ‘Ruh-Rihan’ he gave us a glimpse of Abraham Lincoln’s life and quoted the famous words: God is on our side, but are we on the side of God?

God watches our every act. Hence we should act with ‘Awareness’.

April 16, Sunday
Satsang was held at home at 12.30pm. Dada emphasized the significance of Naam Simran and said by chanting the name of God you will witness miracles in your life.

In the evening, Dada addressed a mammoth gathering at Holiday Inn Park View.
Dada started his discourse with the words;

Do not cry, weep or grumble,

Face every day as it comes.

The audience loved this approach to life and resolved to live a ‘complaint-free life’ and accept every experience of life as a learning lesson. Dada personally went to each satsangi and blessed them.

April 17, Monday
Satsang was once again held at home at 12.30pm. Dada said the first mark of the wise man is his calmness. He does not get angry because he knows that anger harms him more than others. In the evening we had a short meeting at the centre, where Dada spoke of Hassan Dervesh. Hassan had three gurus (1) Thief (2) Innocent children (3) Dog. The thief teaches us to be persistent and never, never give up no matter what obstacles come in the way of our spiritual life, yet let us pursue our goal.

April 18, Tuesday
As usual we had pre-lunch satsang. Dada spoke of the 2nd mark of the wise man. A wise man sticks to

Truth. No matter what difficulties he faces, he continues to stand by truth and truth alone. Dada gave a few illustrations from the life of Mahatma Gandhi and Sadhu Vaswani.

The evening satsang was held at Roopi Chugani’s house. Dada gave the following message:

This world is transient everything passes away
This world is like a dream, says Nanak.

Tuesday the 18th was sacred as Guru Teg Bhadur’s Martyrdom Day.

April 19, Wednesday
This morning, Dada described the third mark of the wise man. A wise man knows that what he is or whatever he has is given to him as a loan. With his insight, he does good deeds and serves others. The day you do not do a good deed, nor help others, that day (time) is wasted!

Singapore was quite hot but showers in the afternoon brought pleasant relief.

Satsangis in Singapore were happy to be blessed by Dada’s darshan twice in a day.
