Cherry Jubilee
 

Ingredients

  • 1 small can pitted cherries
  • 3 T sugar
  • ¾ syrup from cherry tin
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 4-5 drops brandy essence
  • ¼ t cornflour dissolved in 1/5 cup water vanilla ice-cream
 


Method

  1. Caramelize sugar in pan. Add cherries and syrup and heat for a few minutes.
  2. Add lemon juice, brandy essence and cornflour to thicken
  3. Heat it before serving over vanilla ice-cream.
