Cherry Jubilee
Ingredients
1 small can pitted cherries
3 T sugar
¾ syrup from cherry tin
2 T lemon juice
4-5 drops brandy essence
¼ t cornflour dissolved in 1/5 cup water vanilla ice-cream
Method
Caramelize sugar in pan. Add cherries and syrup and heat for a few minutes.
Add lemon juice, brandy essence and cornflour to thicken
Heat it before serving over vanilla ice-cream.
