The month of August, September & October have indeed been eventful for all the children of Sadhu Vaswani's Bal-Niketan aged 4-11 years, held every Saturday from 11.15 – 12.30pm at the Sadhu Vaswani Centre
(127 Marshall Road ). |
Rakhi is the bond of love & protection tied solemnly by a sister on her brother's wrist.Each little girl made pretty decorative strings with bindi's,
Ganesh emblems & multi- coloured ribbons and the guys brought made colourful cards & intricately beaded envelopes for their sisters. |

The auspicious birth of the ‘makhan-chor' Lord Krishna was like a little festival for the ‘Bal-Niketan' kids & their moms. The entire hall was decorated with statues of Lord Krishna in various sizes & poses. Amidst all there was a cute Bal-Gopal swinging in a ‘jhula' which was swayed by the kids with great pride, pulled lovingly by
a floral string.

This was followed by a Krishna-quiz for moms. A dress-Krishna contest for the kids was held, whereby each group dressed one of their team member as Krishna .
